KamPot--What an Experience!

We are ready to go on a 4 hours drive to KamPot, where we drive National Road #3!!
The drive was beautiful!! Lots of rice fields and palm trees!

There are different buses that leaves at different times to different places.  I want to go to Saigon!!!

When we arrived, we took a tuk tuk to the bungalow, it's SO beautiful!!

Look at the river and the scenery we see!

We dropped off our stuff and went for a bike ride.... Bikes are weird, they are they worst bikes I have ever had! Josh's bike does not have a break, he has to stop with his legs.  But we went to see the rapids.

We then saw a drunk Australian, Timmy, going down the rapid, as soon as he saw us, he stopped and said we can pay $5 to tub down the rapid. Therefore, we went down to where they are located and geared up with life jacket and helmet on, rode on a tuk tuk to go up the river.  I had flip flops on, so I went bare foot. I went down with Amy in the same tub as me.  It was really fun, until we flipped over twice before half way.

The first flipped was awful, we were so far with the group already, and we flipped and with the flow of the rapid and the rocks underneath, I hit a bit huge rock on my butt and my leg.  Amy tried so hard to get us back on the shore.  We said a little prayer and went on to the river. We saw a huge giant dip, we knew we are going to flip, we tried our very best.  Of course we fell again. And went back to the shore with spiky trees.  Amy had a bad feeling that we should not go down any further.  I agreed and we hiked up back to the road and walk back to where we came.  I was walking slowly on the rocky and sandy road with my bare foot, Tired, Injured. I knew things will be fine.  Cambodian just looked at us and stared at us without offering any help.    Until 10 mins later, we saw Timmy!! We are pretty sure he is drunk and drove the motorbike to rescue us! We were able to go back to our group safely.

There's Jimmy! AKA Amber's new boyfriend!

And also, look how beautiful it is!

I know the Lord has always sends me angles to help me and guide me.  I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, that I know Heavenly Father is always watching for us.
