Kampong Speu

I always love to go to different places in Cambodia!! This time we were able to go to Kampong Speu through national road #4.

These are some of the helmets that we sell! ITS SUPER CHEAP!! Only $8 for Adult and $3.5 for kids!!!! Super high quality, all from US!!! We brought about 150 of them and 30 for kids!!

This time, we are working with the police and the community to promote helmet use in motorbike, regardless of the driver or the passengers.  I truly wish that I can speak the language so I can help!! :)

The police would get paid $7 for that 1.5 hours, and the community members would get paid $5.  Which is a really good deal, thinking about $1 per meal. I didn't think that the police should get paid for this, but this is the only way to get police involve because police are always "busy".

Next to it, I saw a cow family!! They are so cute, but I always feel bad for them because they are so skinny and malnutrition.... ><.... I feel bad eating them....

Then we had a great great great lunch!! Sophal is nervous that my tummy will not feel well, so we went to a better place for eat. I LOVED all the food that we had!!! We had curry, bitter melon with ground beef inside, then we had the dried salted fish with chicken, and we also had the grilled beef with green tomato.  Especially for me: coconut!! Best Cambodia coconut!! :) It was really good!! And the dessert afterwards.

 Then we went to the school close by, that we used to do intervention in, and visited them, took a nap in the nature.  Seeing how kids love each other in school and they prepare the food to customers, it makes me nervous... But.... I found the 12 Chinese Zodiac.  Can you find yours?

I also found Cambodian Cherries here!! They are really sweet!! I love them!! Sophal said that he used to climb up the tree everyday and pick them to eat.

And of course, more work to do with the police and have fun!!! It was a good day!!!
