Sixth, people thought that I am Korean or Japanese.. It's very funny!
Seventh, I miss home!!
On Saturday morning, we get some rest from the roosters. Normally, the roosters would crock in the morning at around 5am, but Saturdays and Sundays, they get a break! Although we get a break from the roosters, the monks woke me up....
In Cambodia, monks would go from doors to doors and see who is wanting blessings. Whoever wants a blessing, they would pay the monk(s) and the monks will pronounce the blessing to them. A grandmother that is living us with is very sick. She has invited the monks over at least 10 times and gave her blessings of health!
Before Kayla and I left the house, our host mom gave us money (5000 R) to give to the monks and receive blessings of health and study. We had to take off our shoes and put our hands together. Monks are usually just teenagers. I would want to be a monk too...
At night, we went to this buffet in Aeon Mall, it was good. I ate at least 10 plates of veggies! I want more veggies NOW!!!
While we are waiting to be seated, Deson was very diligent to learn Khmer. An older women sitting next to him and taught him more Khmer. What a precious moment!
Then we went to Karaoke after Shabu Shabu. These gentlemen enjoyed themselves so much! We showed our host mom when they sing, the host mom was like "Next time, please bring me!"
