Happy Birthday to Darel SMART!!!

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday dear Darel!
Happy Birthday to you!

It was Darel's B-day!! We were very happy to have her to be with us!! She is so happy and sweet!! Wish that all of her goals can lead her to success and know that I love this girl!

To celebrate her birthday, we had a birthday week for her! Therefore, the next day, we all went to the movie and watched Ant-Man! The seats were amazing, so big and comfy!! I loved it!! Except the sound was TOO LOUD!!!!

Bangkok, Thailand

We did a lot in Bangkok too! When we arrived to Bangkok, Joe's dad picked us up.  His parents are Chinese, so they speak Chinese! They also have a daughter named Cherry. Therefore, his parents told me to call them Mama and Papa because I am their daughter! So sweet!

We went to the Grand Palace.... SO many people!!!! I hated it!! But it was beautiful, hot and crowed!!

We went to Thai-health.  We had a great presentations for about 3 hours.... All of us fell asleep after lunch.

We went to The Riverport, where we have to pay 300 baht for the ferris wheel. We went on the round trip boat ride for FREE! :)

We went to the Chaopraya River for dinner! We sang and danced, we had a great time! Our boat is called "River Star Princess"

This was our boat!
We also went to the people's market in the morning and the other market for food.. This is what we got in the other market.  It is a sweet sticky rice in the bamboo.  When the rice is cooked, the fiber in the bamboo will wrap the rice.  When we want it, the seller will use the wooden thing on top of the bamboo to crack it open.  It is awesome!! Only 10 baht!
We also went to the fanciest mall in Thailand, they sell LV, Prada, any brand that you can name.  Because it is the Queen's birthday, the mall had the Orchard garden to celebrate!

We then took the MRT, which is the MTC in Hong Kong, to take us to the boat ride, to see people living on the river!

There is the floating market.  Looking at this, I can still feel the rocking from the water... :)
And I learned cooking from him! He cooks well! :) That's where Thai-Mama and Papa works everyday!

And off we go.... back to Cambodia!! Deson and Kayla are always my flying buddy! :) With Darel at the back! Air Asia.. worst flight ever!! Don't do it next time!

Kingdom of FOOD!!

It's all about food!!! Food can represent the culture, history, and how people social!! Food is essential to our daily lives!! A Chinese saying "民以食為天” , meaning "food is the God of people".  And that is why I LOVE food SO much!!! Give me everything and I will eat it... except for worms! :)

The kingdom of Siam!

Our first day arrived, we had this chicken over rice from Hainan.  Hainan is the most southern part of China.  It is an island. Their famous food is this chicken over rice!! We also have this famous Satay chicken!! Its my favorite in Thai food!! The sauce with peanuts in it is amazing! :)

Then, we have the cultural experiences, sitting on the floor with sticky rice in the round bamboo boxes.  It was delicious!! We had different types of traditional food, fried sticky rice with spices on it, fried chicken, fried pork skin, some veggies with meggie soy sauce, chili, and two other different pork, one with pork belly, and the other one was ground pork with tomato sauces. And the most important thing was the unlimited soda!!

After the elephant farm we had this amazing Thai food.  Pad Thai, fried chicken, curry, a soup, spring roll with palm sugar, and another pork.  it was good! All of us finished our plates, and the left overs were given to Cody and Dillon.  :)

And this was my favorite in Chiang Mai! After we have saw Jiraporn, she took us to Cafe DinDin! I love this place! We got so many dishes and my favorite dish was the pork rib, where the bones and the meat can be separated so easily, so tender and moist!  I loved it!!
It was also my first time seeing "blue pea", therefore I ordered the "blue pea lime and honey drink".

These are the quotes of my life!! :)

BANGKOK!!!

Our first lunch was in Thai-health.  They said everything they sell in cafeteria are all organic; even the rice.  We can choose regular white rice, or blue pea rice, or red rice, or brown rice.  The color blue is so beautiful! The soup was of course all MSG.  But the sauces on the side was so good!!! :) Sweet and sour, spicy, anything you want! :)

Our Thai-Mama cooks the best!!! She made all of these in 3 hours.  I was going to help after we clean up the house; when I went there, the food was all prepared! It was so good. By the time we want seconds, the food was all gone!! grr.....

We had pineapple fried rice, spring rolls, fried veggies, sweet and sour pork (not fried), satay chicken, cashew veggies, soup, and brownies!! She is amazing!! She didn't cook as spicy as Thai people would, which was perfect!! :) I tried to learn cooking from her, but it has been hard!

We went on the boat ride with the buffet! It was amazing!! Too many food to describe!! Cody love to see me how I eat shrimps.  At that night, while I eat my shrimp, I could not control the shrimp tail and right when I pull off the tail, the tail flew all the way to the other side of the table.  It was very embarrassing. Fortunately, Josh was the only one who saw it.

There were many other good food that I cannot take all the pictures! Cody's favorite was the sticky rice and the curry! I loved the curry too!! So spicy tho!

The next night, we went to their restaurant and ate there! I LOVED it!! This fish was coded with salt and grilled it on a BBQ stove, then we also had grilled chicken, fried rice, fried noodles, pandan sauce with white bread.  It was so good!!! I could not take all the pictures because the dishes did not come all at once, and second, by the time the dishes come to me, it is almost gone.  And I was very hangry that I can careless! :)

At the end, Thai-mama taught us how to make sticky rice.  That plate is for Dr. Page, our VIP guess!

Our best meal in Thailand......
We LOVE this SO much!! That we had 4 meals in Thailand just in one week!!!!! I have to admit that I have this addiction too!

Saraphi Hospital

Under the direction of Jiraporn, we were able to visit the hospital; this is a community hospital. They have an ER, general area, dental, it's nice!! Their signs has both Thai and Burma because a lot of people from Burma will come.

This is Dr. Supamat Amphol, she studied traditional Chinese medicine. She took us on tour today! She learned Chinese for 10 months while living in China, and did some practices on Chinese medicines.  Her Chinese is fluent! :) She can read, write, speak, and listen. So good! :) She is so cute too!! She wants to build her own hospital! :)

This community hospital that we saw today was donated by the temple near by, we went and visited the temple, it was beautiful!

There are 9 monks who lives in this building. It is very fancy and each of the monks will need to bless anything each day. They even sell holy water.  They have scrolls of holy scriptures to study as well; and followed by more than 300 rules everyday.

This is Jiraporn and I, she is a very sweet lady.  She is also very intelligent! She told me she stopped learning Chinese when she was in 4th grade.  But her Chinese is still very good! She has 2 undergrad degree and 2 masters degree.  She taught in the university for a long time, she is retired now and enjoying her life! She is SO sweet!! I love her!

Part of the hospital tour, we had an experience with Thai traditional medicine. Joe is doing a traditional Thai fire massage. In that hospital, We got a Thai massage as well, just for relaxation.  However, it wasn't very relaxing, because the workers talk to each other and we could not understand them.

While we were there, the lady explained to us that every people have different boy types, depending on which month of the year you were born.  I was born in October, all they said was when I turn 32, I will be fat.  I have been joking around it that I can eat whatever I want now and until 32, I will start eating healthily.  :) OK, so I currently weight 107lbs, so hopefully I will not pass 140 after 10 years. :)

After we had this wonderful massage, we had a vegetarian lunch, it was so good! :) And we went to the mall and off we go to the airport to Bangkok!!
