1st Day in AIP-Asia Injuries Prevention

Asia Injury Prevention (AIP) is an NGO .  Currently, we are working on HSHO (Head Safe Helmet ON), focus on elementary school education and their use of helmet.  We have selected 18 elementary schools and 3 different high schools in 3 different Provence and gave out over 500,000 free helmets to students and teachers. The high school kids do not wear helmets, even we have given them free helmets and education; data shows only 300 students wear them after we have pass out thousands of helmets.  Currently, the hardest thing to do is to have the law enforcement.
The fine of not wearing helmet is only $1 USD, which is nothing.  We are in the process of rising that fine up, but first, we need to make wearing helmet to become a law.  In the summer time, there were 16 deaths among people who do not wear helmets that were involved car crashes and they were head injuries.  Vietnam and Thailand have the law of wearing helmets, we need to follow their example!

Currently, I have my own office with air-conditioning.  I still bike 20 minutes everyday to go to the AIP office.
